Northwest Harvest Pick-Up
Your 2012 Port Townsend Cruise donations were just picked up! According to Northwest Harvest, ”The pick-up today brought in 2,821 pounds of food. That is enough food to provide 2,170 meals to hungry people in Washington.” So awesome!!
Weighing In

Amazing Turn-Out!
Did you know you 2012 Port Townsend Cruise participants endured the THIRD WETTEST MARCH on record!? We probably couldn’t have had it much worse weather wise, and we STILL had a fantastic turn-out. You guys are awesome! ♥
We’ll be getting a count of the Northwest Harvest donations shortly and will report back soon. Meanwhile, we’re seeing pictures popping up everywhere, and we thank everyone for sharing. Achtuning is set up taking your Northwest Harvest donation in front of Memorial Field. Find parking where you can and enjoy the town. Thanks for coming out!!
Memorial Field Still A Go For PTC2012!
GOOD NEWS!! Just received word that despite all the rain that Port Townsend has received this week, PORTIONS of the field are still very usable so we still have parking inside Memorial Field! Available parking begins at 12pm, no earlier! Volunteers will be on site directing you to the appropriate places to park. Do NOT park in areas that are roped off as you will damage the field and prevent us from coming back to use it again in the future. Parking within the field will be limited, and is first-come, first served. There is no re-entry into Memorial Field, either.
Achtuning Gears Up For PTC2012
Achtuning is making preparations for this weekend’s 2012 Port Townsend Cruise! Despite the soggy weather, a good number of PacNW European car enthusiasts have committed to come out for a great cause! Participants will meet at Pacific Raceways on Saturday, March 31st around 9am before leaving for Port Townsend at 10:30.
Just in time for PTC2012, Achtuning’s got their new box van all wrapped up so you can easily find where to drop off that Northwest Harvest donation! They will first set-up at Pacific Raceways then roll out to Port Townsend and set up in Memorial Field to collect more donations.
We’re expecting to have these filled up this Saturday!! Gotta at least beat last year’s numbers – 2500 lbs. of food and $320 collected!
Every donation to Northwest Harvest qualifies for a raffle ticket entry where you could win a free APR ECU upgrade!! (limited to applications readily available) The portion of the ticket you get to keep is a coupon which gets you 15% off any StopTech purchase, from brake lines and pads on up to a Big Brake Kit! (redeem-able in-store at Achtuning only)
PTC 2012 Is On Schedule!
Despite a wet, La Nina Winter that threatened a possible re-scheduling of our event, I am happy to announce Jefferson County Fairgrounds has given us the green light for the use of Memorial Field. With the current forecast in mind, it has been determined the amount of rain should not impact use of the field so we’re on schedule for a March 31st event! 
In Memorial Field, there are a few “iffy” spots so those areas will be roped off. Be sure to stay clear of those areas!! And Jefferson County Parks has reserved the right to cancel use of Memorial Field at the last minute in the unlikely event a monsoon comes along and completely floods the field between now and Saturday. Should that happen, it’ll be a free-for-all with regard to in-town parking. Imagine the impact it could have on a town that is limited with parking spaces to begin with so be prepared. And by no means do not park illegally and be mindful of the Port Townsend residents whose town we will be “invading.”
